Elite Sports and Challenges Dame Ellen MacArthur Photo: Offshore Challenges “I have worked with Juliet over the past four years and have been incredibly impressed with her knowledge and professionalism.
My opinion of my sport is that the person who drives the boat is the engine that can not afford to break. What Juliet does is provide me with the best and most appropriate fuel to perform as best as possible, and enough knowledge to understand why each supplement or food is important. That nutritional support covers everything from trying to minimize stress, to helping me think more clearly, to maintaining muscle mass and keeping up energy reserves.
She liaises with other specialists working on projects, from personal trainers, to Emergency surgeons and doctors on standby.
Juliet is available, friendly and professional, and in my opinion makes a special effort to understand her ‘patient’, spending time with them until this is the case - therefore tailoring the nutritional program to the way of life of her client.
She is trustworthy and easy to talk to which makes a massive difference in a working relationship. What has really impressed me with Juliet is her ability to flag up things that others have failed to see. Also, she has the knowledge and the contacts to deal with things swiftly and correctly, and from my experience is a pleasure to work with!” Aurelia Ditton; Offshore Sailor

I slept better, ate better and so as a result was able to race harder. The difference was so profound that I have continued to work with Juliet on a personal level, since the transatlantic race. I have never looked or felt healthier! Juliet is fun- our consultations are full of laughter, yet she is also extremely knowledgeable and very professional in the implementation of that knowledge. I continue to recommend her to every athlete I know!” Alex Cavell; Head Coach Oxford University Lightweight Women’s Rowing Club
"Juliet brought a wealth of knowledge and direction to the club that significantly improved overall health and performance; both of which are key factors to lightweight women's rowing. Juliet's structured and flexible approach is perfect for the dynamic nature of the rowing programme at Oxford University. "Juliet has a great mix of fun and professionalism. We have all enjoyed working with Juliet this year and look forward to the next!" Finn Traerup Hanson; Former Performance Director Badminton England
“Juliet’s professional attitude combined with an inspiring personality yet firm approach meant that players were happy to consult with her”. Recreational Athletes Bob; Portsmouth “I had entered the Great South Run and was feeling very 'fatigued' after only 4 or 5 miles of training. I wasn’t sure I was going to manage to finish the course. I followed Juliet’s advice. On the day I could not muster enough energy to win (!), but I completed the course in less than 2 hours. Although I was well down the list I was still pleased with the result given this was (a) the longest distance I have run and (b) my age (67). I have now retired from International athletics!!!! Without Juliet’s advice I am sure I would still be struggling at 4 or 5 miles maximum”. Medical Patients Amanda Bird; Hampshire “I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease a number of years ago and was taking Mesalazine and steroids. I had no energy and was at my lowest point ever. Juliet worked with me to change my diet and provide me with the necessary supplements to treat the disease. I now only have to take Mesalazine and my NHS Consultant has been really impressed by the affect of Juliet’s knowledge and advice. My life has changed completely, I feel so happy and full of energy”. General Nutritional Health and Disease Prevention Barbra Light Personal Training; Fareham Hampshire “Staying healthy, fit and strong has always been important to me throughout each decade of my adult life. Juliet’s expertise, advice and guidance allows me to feel assured and confident that my daily eating choices and nutritional intake are the best they can be”. Joanna and Alex Dentskevich "Having hit rock bottom with the constant battle (with Alex) that had been ensuing around mealtimes for almost 3 years, a friend suggested I contacted Juliet for help with my son's extreme selective eating problem. I was hugely concerned about possible long term health damage that his poor eating habits might cause, but also the immense strain his behaviour was putting on the whole family. Juliet put together a plan so that she could assess Alex without him realising he was being observed. She visited his school and joined in with lunchtime and organised a "food is fun" tasting session. From this and the food diary I had kept she was able to establish whether it was a physical problem, what food groups and nutrients he was lacking and formulated an action plan to be followed at home and school. From the support Juliet has given me I now feel much more confident that we are making progress....already we have seen much better behaviour at mealtimes and Alex is much happier to talk about food. Juliet has really helped us take a huge step forward."
