Consultancy Services
Individual one to one consultations and follow-up appointments are available for athletes, people with medical concerns, general health enquiries and children. Initial appointments last 1 ½ hours and enable an in-depth assessment to be made. This initial appointment ensures the advice given is to be appropriate, highly individual and successful. Follow-up appointments are 45minutes long and continue from where the initial appointment finished. The number of follow-up appointments needed depends on the advice and treatment necessary. Usually between 1- 6 appointments are needed. Team, Clubs and Associations: Teams, clubs and associations may include very young or very senior athletes who are competing at a wide range of levels from recreational enthusiasts to elite ‘World Class Athletes’. The nutritional advice given to a team, and the individuals within the team, is very specific to the sport and the level and age of the athletes. Corporate: Many areas of nutrition will benefit the health a company’s workforce. Nutrition can improve weight problems, concentration, mood, immunity, energy levels and sleep as well as combat the effects of stress. The workplace is a promising setting to provide information that can enable employees to minimise their risk of developing life threatening and chronic diseases, such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Nutritional intervention can be delivered through one-to-one consultations, executive coaching or seminars to improve the health, attendance, productivity and overall wellbeing within an organisation. Seminars and Workshops Informal, interactive and informative. Seminars allow small or large numbers of people to learn about important aspects of health and performance. They can be cost effective, confidence building and fun whilst allowing a great deal of information to be covered. Seminars for Sports Performance cover a number of core subjects that are beneficial for health and performance. Seminars for Corporate employees cover popular topics that are related to long-term health and daily wellbeing. Computerised Nutritional Analysis A 5 day analysis of foods and drink consumed. The analysis provides valuable information of the shortfalls and inadequacies of typical daily eating patterns. Current energy, carbohydrate, protein, fat and micronutrient intakes can be determined and adjusted to meet individual requirements. Numerous other nutritional elements that influence endurance performance, brain function, body composition, immunity, bone health, hormonal balance and fluid status can be determined and adjusted.
